Orthodontics first helped to reposition Ann’s bite and jaw alignment, after which chipped and worn upper central incisors were repaired with two all-ceramic restorations. Matching dental restorations to natural dentition is one of the most difficult challenges for a restorative team (dentist and lab ceramist). It requires a high level of communication and exquisite photographic protocols between the dental office and the dental laboratory to relate intricate optical properties. The results here show how well NICD does with adhering to this process.
