Prior to redoing Ann’s porcelain fused to metal crowns, Dr. Sesemann referred her to Dr. Barbara Ries for orthodontic treatment. In true interdisciplinary fashion, Dr. Sesemann then performed periodontal (gum/bone) crown lengthening so that Ann’s replacement crowns would be esthetically superior, and her teeth would appear to be an optimal size for her face and smile.
