After undergoing orthodontics, six minimal-preparation porcelain veneers were utilized to complete (delete “this”) Jerry’s interdisciplinary treatment plan, much to his satisfaction. The reason ultra-thin veneers retain natural optical properties is because of the retained tooth structure underneath the veneer, expressing both fluorescence and opalescence optical properties. What that means is that under all lighting conditions these restorations imitate natural teeth and are virtually impossible to detect even with close inspection.
