Orthognathic surgery was a non-starter, as her husband stated during a consultation that he didn’t “want her face to be changed one bit.” Therefore a restorative-only treatment plan was undertaken to disguise a narrow upper arch; fix a dental malocclusion; realign cuspids that had drifted into the space once occupied by the missing upper lateral incisors; provide upper arch restorations; replace compromised amalgam fillings; and utilize tooth whitening to make her new smile dazzle.
